He started out selling roti prata at Ikbal Cafe at an HDB block in Ghim Moh in 1978. In 1989, he moved to Casuarina Road, where he renamed his establishment The Roti Prata House, and moved later to his present premises in 1995. | 在印度煎饼屋我们不只是售卖最好吃的煎饼...我们创造了香脆煎饼。 | A good prata, he tells me, should be eaten plain, without curry or sugar. You might not agree with this, but taste his kosong and you might just be convinced. The freshly-made dough is cooked till a crisp, brown colour. His prata has a rich creamy taste on the inside, with just the right amount of salt. |
